Steve is the CEO and co-founder of Camena Bioscience, a DNA synthesis company based in Cambridge. He built Camena Bio from the ground up, leading it to develop an industry-leading DNA synthesis technology that is now enabling pharmaceutical companies to develop therapeutics. Today, the company has 28 employees, attracting a £MM revenue stream and £MM financing.

Steve trained as a scientist, has authored publications in leading scientific journals, and developed patented technology. He obtained his PhD from University College London, while at the National Institute for Medical Research and has a BSc in Human Genetics from Nottingham University.
